The Wikipedia Signpost is a community-written and community-edited newspaper, covering events and stories related to the English Wikipedia. Major news from other Wikimedia Foundation projects is also included as occasion permits. A new issue is published each week. The first issue of the Signpost was published on 10 January 2005.
The current editor-in-chief is Ragesoss (Sage Ross). Michael Snow served as editor-in-chief from the paper’s beginnings in January 2005 through August 2005, followed by Ral315 through December 2008.
The main home of the Signpost is on Wikipedia, where Wikipedians and other readers can check out the current issue, browse the archives, collaborate on future issues at the newsroom, and comment on individual stories. This blog, maintained by Ragesoss and owned by Ral315, provides a convenient RSS feed for keeping up with the Signpost.
